Episode 1: La Murga de Panama
Join us for our first-ever “episode” of SoH: BEHIND THE MUSIC! This week we’ll have a Zoom session in which Veronica and Carlos will lead us “behind the music” of La Murga de Panama! We’ll learn more about what exactly a “murga” is, delve into the musical legacies of Willie Colón & Héctor Lavoe, and we’ll even learn to sing the lyrics, in English and en español!
